Volodya was born prematurely at 34–35 weeks gestation in serious condition with the following diagnoses: Respiratory Distress Syndrome (pneumopathy), grade 2 cerebral spinal ischemia, hypoxic damage to the liver, pancreas, kidneys, and adrenal glands, partial optic nerve atrophy, convergent strabismus, etc. He spent a long time in the intensive care unit, then in the neonatal pathology ward. At 11 months, the doctors delivered their final “diagnosis”—cerebral palsy. Volodya is now in 9th grade. He really enjoys school and actively socializes with his classmates. He loves being around people. He takes an active part in class activities and participates in various contests and competitions. Due to his poor eyesight and the fact that he cannot manage without assistance, his mother has to stay with him at school at all times. Right after school, they head straight to his therapy sessions: either to the gym, physical therapy, or the pool (according to his schedule). He constantly needs physical therapy, massage, medication, sessions with a speech therapist, a special education teacher, and a psychologist, as well as swimming in the pool. Comprehensive rehabilitation programs are the only way to help him here.

The “Movement Toward Achievement” Foundation was able to raise the amount needed for Volodya to undergo another round of rehabilitation. Once he completed it, we received feedback from Vladimir’s mother, Elvira:

“Dear Staff of the Charitable Foundation of Bogdan Safonov!

We would like to sincerely thank your foundation for the assistance provided to our son, Vladimir Zlobin. With your support, our son was able to undergo high-quality rehabilitation at the Kazan Center for Rehabilitation and Habilitation, which allowed us to see remarkable improvements in Vladimir’s health.

Your foundation covered the costs of treatment and rehabilitation procedures, including massage therapy, physical therapy, swimming lessons, speech therapy, acupuncture, and more. These activities have all had a positive impact on our son’s health, and we are seeing excellent results.”.

We are grateful to you for your kindness, care, and attention to our needs. Your support has helped us overcome difficulties and given us hope for a better future. We are sincerely grateful for your hard work and your desire to help people in difficult situations.

We thank you for your generous work and for making the world a kinder and brighter place!

We would also like to thank all the caring people who made it possible for Volodya to take another step toward a happy and fulfilling life.

Let’s do good together! https://fundbs.com/help-us/
