A rehabilitation system based on social service institutions has been organized in the Moscow region for children with official “disabled child” status. According to the Ministry of Social Development of the Moscow Region, parents can choose a suitable social rehabilitation center through a special online service.
One such institution is the Serpukhovsky Social Center,which may be a convenient option for residents of Bolshoy Serpukhov who want to avoid long trips. It offers a wide range of services, including play therapy and sessions with a psychologist.
The Mother and Child program, which is implemented by the Litvinovo health complex in Naro-Fominsk, is especially popular. This 21-day stay is designed for kids with disabilities and requires an accompanying person.
As noted by the institution, children aged 3 to 18 with various diseases undergo rehabilitation and habilitation here: disorders of the musculoskeletal system, central nervous system (including cerebral palsy, autism spectrum disorders), mental disorders, Down syndrome, and other congenital anomalies.
In order to apply, you must submit an application on the regional government services portal in the section “Recognition of citizens in need of social services,” selecting the inpatient form. Once the request has been processed, an individual social services program will be sent to the applicant’s personal account.
