Emilia Amirova was born at 30 weeks of pregnancy, very tiny: 42 cm and 1520 g. Everything happened suddenly, the doctors could not determine the cause of what happened, they only assumed that the premature birth was triggered by treatment for coronavirus, during which the girl's mother was taking antibiotics. The child's lungs were not fully developed at birth, and she was unable to breathe on her own, so she was connected to a ventilator. Later, during a brain ultrasound, doctors discovered hypoxia and immediately said that the child would become disabled.
The mother began to fight actively for her daughter's health, but despite all her efforts, Emilia developed with severe motor delays. At 7 months, she only began to hold her head up, at 1 year she began to roll over, and at 2 years she began to crawl. She was diagnosed with cerebral palsy at the age of 1 at the Scientific and Practical Center for Child Psychoneurology, where Emilia also underwent rehabilitation courses.Over the years of treatment, the mother and daughter tried many procedures: massage, exercise therapy, SMT, electrophoresis, heat therapy, reflexology, Voita therapy, Galileo vibration platform, IPPA therapy, exercise machines, hydrotherapy, kinesiotherapy, botulinum therapy, osteopathic treatment, homeopathic treatment, speech therapy, psychological counseling, and much more.
In mid-2025, thanks to the funds raised by the Foundation, Emilia successfully completed a rehabilitation course at one of the Russian rehabilitation centers. The girl's mother wrote to us: "Hello! I am the mother of Aminova Emilia. we would like to express our immense gratitude for your help in completing the rehabilitation course! Emilia successfully completed all the classes and we are already seeing positive results. Emilia has become more energetic and her movements are less stiff. Thank you!"
We would like to thank all the caring people who helped Emilia take another step on her difficult path to a full and happy life!
