The Smolyakov family came to our Foundation at the end of February 2024. The delivery of Vladislav's mother was timely, but complicated: labor weakness, prolonged anhydrous period, stimulation of labor. The boy who was born was rated 4-5 on the Apgar scale. His condition was severe, but for some reason the doctors did not do anything, but only wrote it all off to excess weight (as they believed) and heavy labor. They promised that the child would recover.
However, when he was a year old, he was diagnosed with cerebral palsy. Vladislav's mother began looking for rehabilitation centers, simulators, specialists. Since the age of two Vladik's father ceased to see the child and take part in his life. The Foundation “Movement to Achievement” managed to collect the necessary amount of money for another rehabilitation course for Vladislav, which was so necessary for him.

Here is what Vladislav's mom Irina wrote to us after the course was completed: “Hello, we would like to thank the Bogdan Safonov Charitable Foundation ‘Movement to Achievement’ and all kind and responsive people, thanks to whom the rehabilitation course took place. Vlad stood up in a walker and walked on the ramp from the first floor to the third floor. Vlad liked this state of independence and first steps very much. Now he wants to learn to walk consciously. During the course we strengthened his back, improved his hand motor skills, and also did the school program. Thank you very much, you have helped us a lot! May your wishes always come true!”
