Andrei's story

A child with peculiarities can be born in any family, from any parents. You can lead a healthy lifestyle or throw yourself into all sorts of things, give birth at the age of twenty or make a career and only then give birth, carefully choose the father or mother of the child by heredity. But the role is played only by chance. In general, the pregnancy of Andrei's mother passed without any serious deviations. During the pregnancy, she visited all the examinations, responsibly treated the doctor's recommendations. Nevertheless, the ultrasound specialist did not notice the absence of a septum between the large hemispheres of the brain. Andryusha was born exactly on time by cesarean section and received 8 points on the Apgar scale. But the first ultrasound done on the already born child, broke his mom's dreams of happy motherhood. The diagnoses were ruthless: agenesis of the corpus callosum, lissencephaly, hydrocephalus, ventricular septal defect, partial optic atrophy. Andrei's mother began her battle for her son. Due to specialists in physical therapy, massage, aqua-exercises the boy has learned to walk a couple of meters independently, but he still cannot sit up, get on all fours, crawl, stand by a support. The gait is unsteady. Andrei is now 6 years old, but his psycho-speech development is about 2 years old. Despite this, "Andriusha" is a very cheerful child with long eyelashes, mischievous curls and an unforgettable smile! He is never in a bad mood. The only thing that can upset him is injections. He is very afraid of them. At such moments he looks at his mother with eyes full of tears and does not understand why she allows him to be hurt. Nevertheless, this is a child from whom relatives are energized for the whole day! He pats his mother and little sister, hugs them tightly by the neck and kisses them on the cheek. He loves music. Sometimes he will start humming a melody - and the other person immediately understands what kind of song it is. He loves to listen to fairy tales! Now the main goal of Andrei's mom is to start the comprehension of the addressed speech. That's why it is necessary to have a treatment full of classes with a speech therapist, neuropsychologist, fine motor skills and other similar procedures.
