We are pleased to inform you that on September 15, 2024 in the Moscow sports complex “ Berezy Park” the open event of the Bogdan Safonov Charitable Foundation “Movement to Achievement” was successfully held. The event was attended by employees of the Foundation, members of the Society of parents raising disabled children, “Our Care" https://t.me/parents_info, children with cerebral palsy and their parents. We believe that the main goal of our meeting was achieved - the participants of the event managed to establish informal communication, get acquainted with each other, share their experience and learn about the problems and achievements of others. It was the most valuable for us, not in vain the founder of the Foundation Bogdan Safonov said in his welcoming speech that one of the priority tasks of the Charitable Foundation “Movement to Achievement” is to create a global community where people with cerebral palsy could communicate with each other, share experiences and provide each other with moral support, as well as receive help and advice from specialists. It seems to us that such informal but productive communication between previously unknown children with cerebral palsy and their parents at our celebration has begun!
Bogdan Safonov shared his own secrets of overcoming life's difficulties, besides, his friends and mentors spoke about what successes he has achieved and what kind of life motivation he brings to the lives of others. The performance of Nikolay Lukyanov, a Paralympic athlete and multiple champion of Russia, Europe and the world in wheelchair fencing, was also memorable. The master not only told about his sporting successes, but also gave a fiery master class in Paralympic fencing.
