Olya Orlova suffered a serious brain injury as a result of a road accident when she was one year old, which deprived her of the ability to move with the help of her legs. The little girl was diagnosed with Cerebral palsy, generalized epilepsy. You can read more about Olya's story here.

Orlova's family appealed to our Fund with a request to raise funds for orthopedic devices for the lower limbs, which would allow their daughter to take her first independent steps. The required amount was collected, and already on June 29, casts were made of Olya's legs for the manufacture of medical devices taking into account individual features of the child's physique. The work was carried out by LLC "Svoboda-Orto".

Olya Orlova is successfully mastering her new orthopedic devices nowadays. Here is the feedback we received from her mom Tatiana:

"We would like to express our gratitude from the bottom of our hearts to Bogdan Safronov's Foundation "Movement to Achievement" and to the donors who helped us to purchase leg aids for our Olya! It's been two months since Olga has been using them. Our enthusiasm has no limit!

Olya is already holding her back practically straight while standing (initially she used to arch her butt backwards a lot), she is getting better at moving around, so far it is only a few steps with support, but they are more or less correct. Due to the fact that the right leg apparatus is equipped with a lockable "ratchet", we can gradually pull the ligaments of the right leg, which is very convenient, there is no need to cast, the right leg apparatus replaces this procedure.

We would like to thank again, on behalf of Oli, ALL those involved in helping us get the aids for our legs!"

In the name of the Fund "Movement to Achievement" we also want to sincerely thank all our friends and partners, with the help of whom Olya managed to realize her dream - to walk on the ground with her own feet!
